By accessing or using Trailnode (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors and registered members. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian before using the Service.

The Service is intended for users 13 years of age or older. By using Trailnode, you confirm you are at least 13. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, children under 13.

Trailnode provides opportunity listings, descriptions, scores, and related content for general informational purposes only. Trailnode does not provide educational, legal, financial, career, admissions, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for your own research and judgment.

We make reasonable efforts to keep listings useful, but we cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of any information. You are solely responsible for independently verifying all information directly with the hosting organization before taking any action, including submitting applications, paying fees, or sharing personal information.

Trailnode is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting as an agent for any organization or program listed on the platform.

Much of the content on Trailnode (including listings, summaries, descriptions, categories, and credibility scores) is generated, paraphrased, or ranked by automated systems and AI models. These systems can make mistakes, omit details, produce fabricated ("hallucinated") information, or misclassify programs.

All such content is provided on an "as is" basis without any representation that it is accurate or current. You should treat it as a starting point for your own research, not as authoritative.

Trailnode does not guarantee admission to, acceptance by, funding from, or success in any program. Using Trailnode neither increases nor decreases your chances with any opportunity, and we are not responsible for any application result.

The Service references and links to programs, organizations, and websites that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, requirements, fees, conduct, or privacy and data practices.

Interactions with any third party are solely between you and that third party, at your own risk. Some listings may be discontinued, may have changed, or, despite our efforts to score credibility, may be illegitimate or fraudulent. Do not pay money or share sensitive personal information with any program without independently confirming it is legitimate.

You acknowledge that you use Trailnode and pursue any listed opportunity at your own risk, and that you are responsible for evaluating the legitimacy, suitability, and safety of any program before engaging with it.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for conduct that we believe harms the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

You retain ownership of the content and information you submit to Trailnode, such as roadmap entries, saved opportunities, and notes. You grant Trailnode a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information
• Interfere with the platform's security or operation, or attempt to bypass access controls
• Impersonate any person or organization

The Trailnode name, logo, and original content are the property of Trailnode. Descriptions of opportunities may be based on publicly available information from third-party sources; all trademarks, names, logos, and content rights remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce or redistribute Trailnode content without written permission.

If you believe content on Trailnode infringes your rights, or contains inaccurate information about your organization or program, or you would like a listing removed, contact us at contact@trailnode.io with enough detail for us to identify and review it. We may review good-faith requests and may remove or correct content at our discretion where appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trailnode and its operators, owners, contributors, service providers, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunities, missed deadlines, application outcomes, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or your reliance on any content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall the total aggregate liability of Trailnode for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US$100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trailnode and its operators, owners, contributors, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your interaction with any third-party program or organization.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and apply to all users regardless of where they access the Service. You agree that the state and federal courts located in New Jersey will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute that is not resolved informally. You agree that any dispute will first be addressed informally by contacting us, and that the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve it within 30 days before pursuing other remedies.

To the extent permitted by law, any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, and you waive the right to participate in a class action or class-wide proceeding. Certain legal protections for minors may limit the enforceability of some provisions.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Trailnode after changes means you accept the revised terms.
