Trellis ("we", "us", or "our") is a platform that helps high school students discover extracurricular opportunities and plan their academic journey. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website.

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Usage data: We store your saved opportunities, roadmap nodes, and application tracking data so you can access them across devices.

We do not collect: payment information, sensitive personal data, or data from minors under 13 knowingly.

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Trellis service — storing your roadmap, showing you relevant opportunities, and maintaining your account. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Trellis uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method
• Vercel — website hosting
• Groq — AI model used to generate and update opportunity listings

We use cookies only for authentication (to keep you logged in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Trellis after changes constitutes acceptance.
